Creole Sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 can (14.5 ounces) tomatoes
2 tablespoons chopped pimiento
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Brown onion and green pepper in oil. Add remaining ingredients; simmer for 15 to
20 minutes. Serve over fish or chicken.
Makes 1 1/2 cups of Creole sauce.
