Chef Pauls Basic Rice

2 cups uncooked rice
2-1/2 cups stock or water
1-1/2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1-1/2 tbsp finely chopped celery
1-1/2 tbsp finely chopped bell pepper
1-1/2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder
a pinch each, white, black & cayenne pepper
In a 5"x9"x2-1/2" loaf pan, combine all ingredients & mix
well. Seal pan snuggly with foil. Bake at 350F until rice is tender, about 1
hour 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
