Alfredo Sauce Supreme
 

1-2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1- 8oz pkg cream cheese, cut up
2/3 to 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup butter
1/2 whipping cream or half & half
1/8 cup milk--optional

In a large saucepan lightly cook the garlic, do not brown. Add the cheeses, butter, cream & milk, whisking constantly till smooth. If the sauce is to thick, you may want to add a little more milk. Toss fettuccine lightly with sauce, coating well. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese. Serves 3-4.
