Hamburger or Hot Dog Buns

1 cup water
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup bread flour or whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup sugar
3 tsp yeast 

Put all ingredients in abm, choose dough cycle. 

When done, remove dough and gently roll into a cylinder shape about 12 in. long. Divide dough into 12 equal sections for hot dog buns (8 for hamburger buns). Shape sections into 6" tube shaped rolls for hot dog buns. (for hamburgers roll into balls and then flatten top slightly). Place on greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise 10-15 mins. 

Bake @ 400°F 12-15 mins.
